As a result of the Supreme Court Ruling during 2018 affecting online sales taxes (both state and local taxes), various states are requiring sales tax (both state and local taxes) on ANY online sales; therefore, you may now start seeing a separate charge on your auction invoice for this sales tax. The sales taxes will be in ADDITION to the FINAL END PRICE for the auction ticket. At this time, this applies for Conventions held in following states: CALIFORNIA (10.25%), COLORADO (8.81%), FLORIDA (7.0%), ILLINOIS (10.25%), MINNESOTA (8.375%), NEVADA (8.38%), NEW JERSEY (6.625%), NORTH CAROLINA (7.25%), OHIO (7.5%), OKLAHOMA (8.63%), PENNSYLVANIA (8.0%), TENNESSEE (9.25%), TEXAS (8.25%), VIRGINIA (6.0%), and WASHINGTON STATE (10.4%).
